Arwen

Arwen’s previous family moved house and left her behind.  Living outdoors and un neutered she was quickly pregnant and in a mess.   Thankfully some caring neighbours spotted her and got her a place at 8 Lives.

Her gorgeous kittens were born on 20 March, and she’s been a lovely mummy to them – though to be fair, the joy of motherhood is starting to wear a bit thin at this stage 😉   They little ones (aka The A Team) will be off to their new homes around the middle of June, and Arwen would love to have something lined up for this next stage of her life by then.

She’s a very pretty girl, sweet natured and affectionate.  She could do with putting a bit of weight on as not being well cared for, and then getting pregnant and feeding little ones has taken it out of her somewhat.   We understand she lived with other cats and a dog in her previous home, so will probably be ok with them in her new home.  Understandably she’s not wanted other cats around whilst she’s been in rescue and has had her kittens to protect.  She’s also been used to children whist she’s been here and is fine with them.

Arwen will be spayed, vaccinated and microchipped before she goes to her new home.  She will also be up to date on her flea and worm treatment when she leaves.

She’d love a home with a family she can rely on to stay with her and take care of her this time.  Once she’s settled she’d like  a safe garden to explore.

We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £70 for an adult cat so that we have some funds available to help the next cat that comes along.  If you think Arwen could fit into your family please email us at eightlives@outlook.com
