Gorgeous Jasper came into rescue having lived as a stray for over a year. A slightly sketchy history from neighbours suggested that he was abandoned as an older kitten when his family moved house. Then he’d been taken in and cared for temporarily by someone who had also moved on. For the last year he’s had access to a shed for shelter, along with his mate Puddy, and been fed by a kindly neighbour. The situation came to a head when that lady also became unable to care for them.
He arrived in rescue a little nervous, greasy coat, and grey & ginger rather than white and ginger. He’s settled in beautifully though and has been happy being groomed to restore his coat to its former glory. He’s a very friendly chap, with a huge loud purr. He loves to snuggle on laps and dreams of having one of his own at last.
Jasper is neutered, and will finish his vaccinations and be microchipped prior to going to his hew home. His health check was all good apart from obvious wear and tear on his teeth at that age. He’s been happy to share with Puddy, so would be happy to go to a new home with him. They don’t appear to be closely attached though … so could be equally happy moving out on his own.
He’ll need to stay indoors initially in his new home, but after that would like a safe garden to explore. We always recommend that cats be kept indoors overnight though.
We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a minimum adoption donation of £70 for a neutered adult cat.
