Tilly’s kittens

tily and t team 5 weeks

Young  Tilly is one of the sweetest natured cats we’ve had in rescue.    She arrived here with Tinkerbell, her kitten, over the summer.    Sadly she was already pregnant again  so while Tinkerbell went off to her lovely new home,  poor Tilly had to start again with raising little balls of fluff.   She’s only about 18 months old so must have spent pretty much all her adult life pregnant with and then raising little ones.   To make matters worse, she had 6 (!) kittens this time.   She’s a loving attentive mummy, but there’s times when keeping her eye on 6 of them is clearly too much for her – when there’s one going up the curtains, and one dangling from the cat tree, and another stuck in the bathroom the poor girl doesn’t know which way to run first. The markings on her face somehow give her an expression that says she’s more fed up of it than she actually is. Anyway, she’s been spayed and microchipped now, and will be vaccinated before she goes to her new home.

Despite all the trouble they cause, the kittens are gorgeous – 4 boys and 2 girls. We’d ideally like them to go in pairs, or to homes with other friendly pets, or homes where there is someone around the house a lot of the time. They were born 7 September so will be ready to go to their new homes towards the end of November. They will be vaccinated and microchipped before adoption.

Update 9 November: Toby & Truffle are now reserved

We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a minimum donation of £60 for a kitten and £70 for an adult (neutered) cat. We pride ourselves on treating our cats and adopters as individuals and supporting them in the process of settling in to their new lives together.
