Barney came into rescue with his siblings Bella and Bailey. They’d been living in a garden where mum cat had not been neutered, and already had the next litter of little ones with her. We think he’s about 6 months old as of October 2013. He’s been neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped, and of course treated for fleas and worms. His more confident brother and sister have gone to their new homes now, leaving poor Barney on his own.
He’s a handsome young man, very gentle, and is gradually building his confidence with people. He’s anxious about being approached – once you’re actually next to him and stroking him he loves it and purrs loudly.
He might do best in a quieter home, with people who have some experience of cats and the patience to let him settle in his own time. He’d probably quite like to have another gentle cat for company. He’ll also need a safe garden to explore once he’s settled and able to start going out.
We always home check prior to adoption and ask a minimum adoption donation of £70. If you think your home could be the one that Barney is waiting for please contact us at: firstname.lastname@example.org
