Niki is an very pretty older kitten who sadly had to come into rescue when her elderly mum needed to go into a care home. She’d been well cared for there, though recent weeks had obviously been disruptive and she’d been home alone for a little while before getting a place in rescue with just the odd person popping in to feed her. When she arrived in rescue she was keen for human company, but terrified of the other cats here and hid under her blanket for a couple of days. Once she realised all was going to be ok she quickly developed into a regular naughty kitten.
Niki has been spayed, vacccinated and will be microchipped before going to her new home. She is of course up to date with flea and worm treatment.
She’d be happy in any family home, with other friendly cats, or sensible children. She may take a little while to find her feet and build her confidence, but she’s progressed so well here in a short time that we’ve every reason to think that she will settle well in a home that is able to give a little extra time and patience to bringing her on.
We always home check prior to adoption and ask a minimum donation of £70 for a neutered cat. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html
