Pearl & River’s lives (and those of the rest of their family) went into free fall when their dad was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Everything has changed, the family have had to move to be able to cope with end of life care, and these lovely girls have landed in rescue. They’re sweet, affectionate cats who just can’t understand what’s happened to their world.
We believe Pearl is about 5 and her daughter River is around 4. They’ve both been spayed and microchipped. They’ve had a health check at the vets this evening and no issues found, and they’ve started their vaccinations. Worm and flea treatment is of course all up to date.
Despite being stressed and confused, they’re loving affectionate cats who just need a chance to settle in a new home. They’d fit well into more or less any family and have been used to living with children. For various reasons it sounds like they’ve spent part of their lives having access to outdoors and part as indoor cats. We’d be especially interested in families who could offer a safe garden for them to explore but might also consider indoor only homes.
If you think you might be able to offer the settled home they need please contact us.
We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £75 for each adult neutered cat.. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html and you’ll find some more photos and stories about them (and our other cats) on our blog: https://8livescatrescue.wordpress.com/ and facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/8Lives/
