Jack is another lad who has been around for a while. He’s a sweet boy who likes to be stroked. He comes for a free supper here day after day for a while, and then disappears, and weeks/months later returns. We don’t have the high tech stuff that the Horizon programme has – however we know from looking for Alfie when he was lost, feeding Mog on the allotments, and spending time at Meers Cattery, that our Jack has quite a wide territory.
He’s a smart lad …. he visits just enough to make sure I look out for him and put out some food, but just as I think its about time we tried to trap and neuter him he disappears for weeks.
If he ever wanted to come in from the cold he’d make someone a lovely companion.
Until then …. we watch and wait ……..
