They’ve been health checked at our vets and no issues found. They’re now fully vaccinated, microchipped and have had flea and worm treatment.
The kits will need to be neutered at age 5-6 months, and be kept securely indoors until this time. After that they’d like a safe garden, away from busy roads where they can chase off their kitten energy. We strongly recommend that cats of all ages are kept securely indoors when its dark for their own safety, and have access to an indoor litter tray.
Out of the large family of kittens these are the two who are more shy. We know from previous experience of large litters of kittens that once they have a place of their own and more individual attention, their confidence will come on in leaps and bounds. Although he’s shy … Rowan is very ready to purr and enjoys a snuggle. Rolo is more wary and anxious about being approached … though once she’s being gently stroked she’s happy and purrs contentedly.
They will find it easier to be in a quieter family. That doesn’t necessarily exclude families with children …. but these aren’t the right kits for families with young kids who are desperate to interact with their pets.
They are advertised together as they are attached to each other and they will be going to their new home togehter. Please don’t contact us asking for the tabby kitten and to leave his black and white sibling behind.
All our adoptions offer 4 weeks insurance with Pet Plan.
