Smudge was brought to the cattery by social services when her human had to go into hospital and there was no one else to care for her. She had a little secret that she didn’t reveal until she’d been there a few weeks. A cattery isn’t really the best place to have your babies, especially early this year when it was still quite chilly. So Smudge came here a few weeks before the kittens were born, and brought them up here where they could get used to a home environment.
Working with social services and Smudge’s human we were able to get Smudge spayed, and her little ones vaccinated, chipped and re homed. Smudge then returned to her human once she was out of hospital and well enough to care for her again. We’re delighted to have been able to help – its bad enough being ill without having to lose your cat as a result.
