Shadow

Shadow arrived with us at about 14 weeks old (14 August) … her litter mates had all been rehomed but Shadow had been left behind.  I can only assume that was because of the colour of her jacket, because she’s perfect in every way.  She’s a sweet healthy, playful little girl, who loves nothing more than to climb onto a lap and lay there purring and snoozing.

Although initially a little freaked out by the resident adult cats here, within a couple of days she’s settled fine with them – and they’re not noted for being friendly! 😦  She was living in a home with children prior to coming into rescue so has also been used to kids.

Don’t get me wrong … she’s a kitten … not an angel

Shadow has had a health check at the vets and all is well. She’ll complete her vaccinations and be microchipped prior to adoption. Naturally she’s had relevant flea and worm treatment. She’ll need to be kept indoors until at least 6 months old and until she’s been neutered. After that she’d enjoy having a safe garden to chase around in. She’ll be happiest with another friendly cat/kitten and/or humans who are around a fair bit of the day.

We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a mimimum donation of £60 for a kitten who still needs to be neutered. There’s more about our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html
