Fern

Fern and her siblings were born 25 July 2014 to a very young mum (Flossie) who has made a lovely job of bring them up. They came into rescue when the kittens were about 7 weeks old.

She’s not let the fact that she’s the smallest of the litter hold her back, she’s a feisty young madam who loves to play and loves to cuddle once she’s worn herself out.

Fern has started her primary course of vaccinations (the full course is already paid for at our vets, so if she’s adopted before the second vacc is due we’ll ask her new family to take her for her second vaccination) and will be micro chipped prior to adoption. She has of course been treated for worms and fleas and is now ‘passenger free’. She will need to be neutered when she’s 6 months old, or earlier if your vet is agreeable to earlier neutering. She should stay indoors until she’s at least 6 months old, and definitely until she’s been neutered. After that it would be good if she could have a safe garden to explore.

She’d be happy to go to her new home with either of her siblings or with cousin Floyd.

We always homecheck prior to people coming to meet the cats and ask a minimum adoption donation of £60 for kittens. You can find full details of our adoption process here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html
