Tinkerbell came into rescue when she was about 10 weeks old, along with her mum Tilly. We wondered why Tilly kept hissing at her and she was cowering in a corner. When we took them for their first vaccinations we found out. Despite Tinky only being a baby, mummy is pregnant again. So little Tinkerbell had her vaccination and mum had an ante natal – she can’t be vaccinated whilst pregnant.
So Tink went to play with Nala, Pippin and Nala’s kittens to give mum a bit of space. There’s still a bit of hissing, but not quite so many hormones, so a bit more hope of making friends there. She’s a little nervous of the other cats but friendly with humans and loves to play and to snuggle.
Tinkerbell will be microchipped and finish her vaccinations before she’s rehomed. She’s also up to date now with worm and flea treatment, and the vet gave her a clean bill of health.
If you think you could offer her a lovely home to Tinkerbell please email us at eightlives@outlook.com or use the contact form on here. She’ll soon be best mates with Pippin, so if you fancy a pair of kittens they’ll be happy to go together.
We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a minimum adoption donation of £60 for a kitten. Neutering as early as your vet recommends is a condition of adoption. Our full adoption process is here: http://www.8livescatrescue.org/adoption-process.html
