Cloe

Cloe was found straying, cold and hungry. Although microchipped her family didn’t respond to vets trying to contact to reunite her so we assume she’s been abandoned.

She’s a very sweet fussy lady who is very grateful to be indoors and fed and warm. We know from her microchip that she’s 14 and has been neutered. She’s now completed her initial course of vaccinations and is up to date with flea and worm treatment. Health check with the vet revealed no obvious health problems.

Cloe hasn’t been allowed to mix with the other cats here yet so we’re not sure how she gets along with other cats. We think she’d be fine with older kids, though she’ll let you know if she’s had enough of being fussed or if you’re not quite doing it how she wants it.

Update 13 Feb:  Cloe has been in a foster home for about a month now and her foster mum has sent us this lovely update:

“Whoever adopts Cloe is getting a great cat! She doesn’t look or act 14. She is playful, friendly and runs to greet us when we get back from work.

She has also been very easy to foster: she settled in quickly, doesn’t scratch furniture and uses her litterbox perfectly.
She loves company, attention, and REALLY loves my plug-in heated throw. She sometimes sits in your lap, but more often she will sit next to you, purring quietly.
:)”

She’s probably been used to being able to go outdoors so will most likely enjoy a safe garden to explore once she’s settled in her new home. She does need to be kept indoors at night though.

We always homecheck prior to adoption and ask a minimum adoption donation of £70 for a senior cat.
