Rosie & Mabel

Rosie & Mabel came into rescue when they became surplus to requirement when the family got a new puppy.   They fit a sad but all too familiar pattern of kittens who have been very loved and fussed, and who think they’re settled for life, only to have the shock of being no longer wanted once they pass the cute little kitten stage.

They’re very sweet, confident girls who enjoy a fuss.  We believe they’re sisters – they get along ok though don’t appear to be terribly close so we may consider splitting them if there are good homes for single cats.

They’re neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and have had a health check with our vet which has shown up no issues.  They’re now up to date with flea and worm treatment.

They’d probably be happy in more or less any kind of family who was able to give them the love and care they need.  They’ve lived with children before and should be fine with sensible children who know how to treat animals with respect.  They’ve been used to going outdoors so would like a nice safe garden, away from busy roads to explore once they’re settled in their new home/s.

On arrival at their new home they wiill need to be kept indoors at least one month until they are settled.  After that we very strongly recommend that they are kept indoors overnight for their own safety.

We always homecheck prior to adoption, and ask a minimum donation of £75 for each adult neutered cat..
